ARTICLE 1. INTRODUCTION

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services.

 

1.1. What these terms cover

These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you.

 

1.2. By using our website you accept these terms

By placing any order through our website www.littleribbon.cl you confirm that you accept these terms and that you agree to comply with them. Please do not place any order through our website if you do not agree to these terms.

 

1.3. Why you should read them

Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or terminate the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss.

 

1.4. Amendment of these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. You may wish to check the relevant terms that apply at the time of placing an order through our website.

 

ARTICLE 2. CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

Before placing an order on the Site, the Customer must create a customer account.

The Customer declares that all the information given is true and accurate.

The information and personal data provided by the Customer will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection policy.

 

ARTICLE 3. PRODUCTS

 Our acceptance of your order will take place when payment for the goods is made successfully, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. Once payment for the goods is made successfully, you would normally be directed to a page indicating payment success and your “Order” page would list your order as “Ordered Items”.

If we are unable to accept your order, a landing page indicating that the order has not been placed will normally appear by default and we will not charge you for the product. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, because of any credit issue on your credit card, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product, etc. However, if a product is unavailable after the order has been validated, the Customer will be informed promptly by email and the missing product(s) will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

Little Ribbon does not accept returns or exchanges due to product color or sizes. We try to accurately adjust the product’s color on our social media pages and in our online store. However, please keep in mind that based on your monitor’s settings, the product’s actual color may appear slightly different.

 

ARTICLE 4. PRICES

 The prices of the products indicated on the site are in United States dollars (USD), all taxes included, and do not include the contribution to delivery costs, the amount of which is specified before the final validation of the order.

In case of price error, which can be due to a technical problem, Little Ribbon reserves the right not to accept the order.

The products remain the entire property of Little Ribbon until the complete payment of the price.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service (or any part or content thereof) without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

 

ARTICLE 5. PAYMENT METHODS

Payment for purchases on Little Ribbon can be only be made using Paypal. This is an easy way to pay, you can use your credit card, debit card, Paypal account balance or bank account balance to pay.

 

ARTICLE 6. MY ORDER

Every order is packaged in our signature Little Ribbon packaging, designed to complement the elegance of your items. Jewelry pieces are packaged in a Little Ribbon jewelry box, made to protect your jewelry. Inside, you will find a jewelry care card and a special thank you card. If multiple pieces are purchased, they will be placed in one of our velvet pouches, which is ideal for travel and storage. The jewelry boxes have been wrapped in branded tissue paper after being cushioned with shredded paper to prevent damage during transportation. All jewelry orders are shipped in micro-corrugated cardboard boxes and wrapped in a compostable shipping bag.

Clothing is first wrapped in a plastic bag to protect it from water damage, followed by a paper bag, and finally a compostable shipping bag.

How Little Ribbon Prevents Shipping Damage: Use of correctly-sized microcorrugated cardboard boxes, due to their great hardness; use of Crinkle Paper Filler to fill any void spaces; this material is also an excellent shock absorber; proper handling of jewelry pieces with custom cardboard boxes; and use of strong shipping glue.

 

6.1. Order processing

Orders are typically processed within 1-5 business days and shipments are made every Tuesday and Friday. We do not process orders during the weekend or on recognized holidays, please check our shipping schedule.

 

6.2 Estimated delivery times

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the country of destination. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes, local duties and taxes, or lost items during transit.

 

6.3. Declare my order as a gift

We are unable to declare orders as gift.

 

6.4. Lower the declared value of my order

We are unable to lower the declared value of our items. We have to comply with import and export regulations and laws. Undervaluation of goods is taken very seriously by the authorities and it can result in a fine or the seizure of your goods.

 

6.5. Edit my shipping address

You can’t manually change your shipping address. Please contact us as soon as possible to see whether we can change the destination address before the package ships.

We are unable to change your address once your order has been shipped, and no refund will be issued if the courier company determines the address is incorrect or invalid during delivery.

 

6.6. Cancel my order

You can’t cancel your order. We are also unable to cancel or change orders after they have been placed.

 

6.7. Returns and exchanges based on product color or size

Little Ribbon does not accept returns or exchanges due to product color or sizes. We try to accurately adjust the product’s color on our social media pages and in our online store. However, please keep in mind that based on your monitor’s settings, the product’s actual color may appear slightly different.

 

6.8. Track my order

Tracking information will be available 1~4 business days after shipment.

You can track your order at https://www.correos.cl/seguimiento-en-linea#0 (Correos Chile Spanish website). Or navigate to the website of the company that handled your order.

 

6.9. Tracking number of my order

All packages shipped by Correos Chile (EMS, SPI and IP) or DHL include a tracking number.

We will send the tracking number to your registered email address within 1 to 5 business days of receiving an email confirming that your order is complete. Please note that we only ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information please read the “Shipping” section.

 

6.10. Parcel Delivery Failure

If the package is returned to Chile, it will arrive in our warehouse.

If you are informed that your package will be returned, please contact us. As the recipient, you are responsible for any additional costs incurred when parcels are returned to our warehouse due to attempted deliveries. We will contact you to send the package again.

 

ARTICLE 7. SHIPPING

We offer international shipping by Correos Chile and DHL. Orders will be shipped to the address you provided at checkout. Please provide an accurate home or office delivery address, email address, and phone number to ensure a smooth and speedy delivery. Please ensure that someone is present at your home or office to receive your parcel.

All orders are shipped from Santiago de Chile (Capital of Chile, South America). Please note we do not have any store locations, and cannot facilitate pick-ups or customer support in person.

Mail service in Chile is run by Correos Chile, which is efficient and reliable. So far this company has never lost one of our packages. Correos Chile offers three types of shipping services: Small Packet International- Air (tracked), International Parcel- Air (tracked), and Express Mail Service (EMS). In addition to DHL (private company).

 

7.1. Shipping cost

The shipping fee is calculated based on the weight of your order and will be charged at the checkout step. You can also calculate the shipping fee on the cart page by entering the destination information.

For orders via DHL, you must first pay for the items in your cart. Later we will request for a shipping quote. A second payment will be sent to your registered email, with the cost of the quote. Please keep in mind that DHL is a very expensive option (more than EMS). If you place an order through DHL, please realize that you cannot cancel it.

 

7.2. Tracking number of my order

All packages shipped by Correos Chile (EMS, SPI and IP) or DHL include a tracking number.

We will send the tracking number to your registered email address within 1 to 5 business days of receiving an email confirming that your order is complete. Please note that we only ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more information please read the “Shipping” section.

 

7.3 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING BY CORREOS CHILE

7.3.1. Small Packet International- Air by Correos Chile (Less than 2kg) | SPI

– Shipping destination: Available to 192 countries         

– Projected arrival date (business days): 5~30 days

– Tracking: You can track parcels using the unique tracking number

– How many times do they attempt to deliver a package?: Only 1

– Return to sender: Parcels are returned if the customer doesn’t receive the package

**International orders may be subject to customs, import duties, tax charges or any surcharges when they return to Chile. These charges are borne by the customer, and we are not responsible for covering them.  **

 

7.3.2. International Parcel- Air by Correos Chile (from 2kg to 30kg) | IP

– Shipping destination: Available to 192 countries         

– Projected arrival date (business days): 5~30 days

– Tracking: You can track parcels using the unique tracking number

– How many times do they attempt to deliver a package?: Only 1

– Return to sender: There is no return option; instead, please contact the company responsible for your order, which could be the post office or a courier such as DHL, UPS, FEDEX, DPD, etc. Please try to schedule a redelivery; otherwise, the package may be inventoried or destroyed.

**International orders may be subject to customs, import duties, tax charges or any surcharges when they return to Chile. These charges are borne by the customer, and we are not responsible for covering them. **

 

7.3.3. Express Mail Service by Correos Chile (Up to 30kg) | EMS

– Shipping destination: Available to 34 countries

– Projected arrival date (business days): 4~15 days

– Tracking: You can track parcels using the unique tracking number

– How many times do they attempt to deliver a package?: Only 2

– Return to sender: Parcels are returned if the customer doesn’t receive the package

7.4. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING BY DHL

For orders via DHL, you must first pay for the items in your cart. Later we will request for a shipping quote. A second payment will be sent to your registered email, with the cost of the quote. Please keep in mind that DHL is a very expensive option (more than EMS). If you place an order through DHL, please realize that you cannot cancel it.

 

DHL (Up to 30~70 kg)

– Shipping destination: Worldwide        

– Projected arrival date (business days): 5~30 days

– Tracking: You can track parcels using the unique tracking number

– How many times do they attempt to deliver a package?: DHL will automatically return your package the next working day. Please try to schedule a redelivery

7.3. List of countries not currently accepting shipments from Chile:

At this time, Express Mail Service (EMS) does not provide service from Chile to the following countries: Panama, Puerto Rico, Russia and Cuba. Small Packet International service and International Parcel service, does not provide service from Chile to the following countries: Venezuela, Palestine, Israel, Kosovo, Ukraine.

**If your country is on the list, the order can be shipped via DHL** For orders via DHL, you must first pay for the items in your cart. Later we will request for a shipping quote. A second payment will be sent to your registered email, with the cost of the quote. Please keep in mind that DHL is a very expensive option (more than EMS). If you place an order through DHL, please realize that you cannot cancel it.

 

7.4. Compensation for lost or stolen package

Little Ribbon is not responsible for packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen. We are unable to control every aspect of the delivery process, but we will do everything we can to ensure you receive your order. In the unfortunate circumstance that your package is officially declared lost or stolen by the courier, the first step in filing a claim is determining who is responsible for your package.

7.4.1. If the package was lost or stolen by Correos Chile (while being in transit from Chile to your country), Correos Chile provides compensation for loss based on the shipping method used. Please contact us here, tell us your full name, order number, and detailed description of this situation. We will contact Correos Chile to begin the insurance claims process, please realize that this process may take weeks. The compensation will be returned only when the company notifies us (not before), and only via PayPal.

Compensation for lost or stolen package

-Small Packet International-Air / Lost or stolen / 30 SDR + postage

-International Parcel- Air / Lost or stolen / 40 SDR + 4,5 SDR per kilo + postage

-Express Mail Service (EMS) / Lost or stolen / Up to 130 SDR

 

SDR: Special Drawing Right

7.4.2. If the package was lost or stolen within your country, the first thing you should do is contact the company in charge of your order, whether it was the post office or a courier like DHL, UPS, FEDEX, DPD, and so on. Depending on their procedures, they will provide you with additional guidance and inform you of the next steps.

ARTICLE 8. RETURN & EXCHANGE

All products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We are unable to accept refunds, returns, or exchanges for personal reasons because each collection is handmade and manufactured with a specific number of jewelry components.

We only accept refunds and exchanges for incorrect orders within 7 days of receiving the item(s). All handmade and non-handmade items are rigorously inspected before being shipped to you; therefore, damaged or lost items cannot be refunded, exchanged, or replaced.

 

8.1. Refunds and exchanges can only be accepted if:

-An incorrect item has been delivered to you

-You request a refund and exchange within 7 days of receiving your order

– You purchase(s) made on our official ONLINE SHOP

-You provide proof of purchase

-You send the item and the original packaging to our warehouse

-The item is in its original packaging and unworn

-All items, must be protected in secure packaging when you return the item

 

Products damaged due to improper handling are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Products returned are subject to evaluation and will not be eligible for a refund or exchange if they do not meet the requirements.

 

8.2. Incorrect items

We sincerely apologize if the product you received did not match the one you ordered.

If an incorrect item has been delivered to you, please contact us here within 48 hours of receiving the product. And we will send you further instructions on how to proceed. Remember to take photos of your order. Little Ribbon will be responsible for any return shipping costs. If you request a refund, it will be processed through Paypal.

 

8.3. Place an exchange or refund

  1. Please contact us. Tell us your full name, order number, and detailed description of the wrong item(s).
  2. Kindly wait for our response and then specify which product(s) arrived incorrectly. Don’t forget to take photos of your order and products, and send them to us.
  3. Please specify if you would like and exchange or refund.

In case of any exchange, you will be informed about the availability of the products. If the item you want is out of stock, you will receive a full refund for the original product you purchased after receiving the product(s) in our warehouse. Remember that all collections are handmade and manufactured with an exact amount of jewelry components, there may be no more stock of the model you want.

  1. We will give you the address and details of the package you need to send in order to return the incorrectly delivered product(s).
  2. Upon receiving the products in our warehouse, we must ensure they are unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging.
  3. Depending on the condition of the product(s), the full purchase price will be refunded via Paypal. Alternatively, the product will be exchanged according to availability. Remember that Little Ribbon is responsible for any return shipping costs.

 

8.4. Late return

If you do not request a refund and exchange within 7 days of receiving your order, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. We reserve the right to reject your return and exchange request.

 

8.5. Returns and exchanges based on product color or size

ARTICLE 9. DUTIES & TAXES

The content and total value of your order will be declared to customs when it is shipped. In addition, your package will include a printed sheet with detailed information about your order. If you have an account, you can download your order details immediately. If not, you can contact us, and we will resend your order details to the email address you registered. When international orders arrive in their destination country, they may be subject to customs, import duties, taxes, or surcharges. These charges are borne by the customer. For more information on duties and taxes, please visit your local customs department’s website. Little Ribbon has no control over these charges and is unable to advise you what the cost would be, because import duties and customs regulations vary by country. Before placing an order, please check your local tax and duty fees by contacting your customs office.

 

ARTICLE 10. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

ARTICLE 11. ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.

 

ARTICLE 12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to the Service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and governs your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service).

Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Chile.

 

ARTICLE 15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All the intellectual property rights of the Site and its contents belong exclusively to Little Ribbon. All information and content available on the website including but not limited to trademarks, logos, designs, features, functions, texts, graphics, images, videos, software, music and sounds, and the compilation and organization thereof (collectively to be referred to as “Content”) is our property or the property of our affiliates, partners or licensors (as applicable). The reproduction, in whole or in part, modification, tampering or use of such Content for whatever reason, is strictly prohibited. All rights, title and interest in the Content are owned by, licensed to, or controlled by “us”.

The customer commits himself not to make any use of the contents of the site. Any total or partial reproduction of this content is strictly forbidden and is likely to constitute an infringement of copyright.

 

ARTICLE 16. PROHIBITED USES
